Injured Man Found In Park Dies In Westchester, Police Investigating A young man was discovered with critical injuries in a public park in Westchester before later dying of his wounds, prompting a police investigation.  The incident happened in Yonkers on Tuesday, Feb. 21, when a man in his late 20s or early 30s was found alone in Grant Park with life-threatening injuries around 8:10 a.m., according to Detective Lt. Dean Politopoulos.  First responders then gave the man medical aid before he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.  An investigation into the unnamed man's death is now ongoing. Body Found In Hudson Valley Garage Police are asking the public for help after a man was found dead in a Hudson Valley garage. The man was found in Orange County in the city of Newburgh on Tuesday, May 31. When police arrived on the scene, they found the man, whose identity is not being released out of respect for the family, was found in a garage, the city of Newburgh Police said. Man Found Dead In Area Residence Police are investigating after finding a person dead in his area apartment. The unidentified man was discovered around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug.15  in Nyack, said Captain Michael F. Shannon of the Orangetown Police. According to Shannon, officers responded to South Broadway, regarding an unknown medical condition.  Officers then found the unconscious man who was the sole occupant of the apartment.  Rockland Paramedic Services declared the 56-year-old Nyack resident dead at the scene, Shannon said.  An investigation is underway. Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train
Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train An unidentified man was struck and killed by a Metro-North New Haven Line train near the downtown Stamford station early Friday evening. The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. The train had departed from Grand Central Station just before 6 p.m. Delays of a half-hour or more following the incident last for several hours.
