Suspect Throws Brick Through State Police Barracks In Westchester Despite a full-out search including helicopters, a suspect who threw a brick through the window of a  state police barracks in the Hudson Valley managed to escape. The incident took place on Thursday, Feb. 24 Northern Westchester at the State Police Somers Barracks, located at 295 Route 100 during the evening hours. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, the suspect was on an ATV when they threw the brick and despite a large search by troopers and area police, they managed to escape detection. Investigation Launched Into Death Of Infant In Westchester A police investigation has been launched into the death of a 6-week-old in Northern Westchester. Troopers, along with the North Salem Ambulance and Westchester County EMS, responded to Raymond Road in North Salem for a report of an unresponsive 6-week-old male on Friday, June 14, state police from the Somers barracks said. The victim, Mason J. Cowan, was transported to Danbury Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation into the infant’s death is ongoing and no further information has been released. Man Charged In Thanksgiving Day Road-Rage Incident In Westchester A 62-year-old man is facing multiple charges after state police say he was involved in a Thanksgiving Day road-rage incident in Northern Westchester. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22, a victim of road rage led the man's vehicle to the parking lot of the State Police Somers barracks on Route 100.  The state police sergeant at the barracks heard the disturbance and investigated.
