'To Catch a Predator' Host Charged With Bouncing Numerous Checks Television crime sleuth Chris Hansen of “To Catch a Predator" fame has been arrested for allegedly bouncing several checks for money owed to a promotional company. The former Stamford resident, was arrested Monday for failing to pay for $13,000 worth of promotional materials he ordered to promote his show from a local vendor, said Stamford Police Sgt. Sean Scanlan.
