ID Released Of Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle At Tarrytown Intersection
Authorities are investigating a crash at a Westchester intersection that left a man dead. The incident happened on Tuesday, Dec. 26 just before 2 p.m., when a 79-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Tarrytown at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 119, according to Tarrytown Police. The man, identified as Patrick Kennedy of Tarrytown, was later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation into the incident, which is still ongoing, police said. Lane Closure On Saw Mill Parkway In Greenburgh To Last Through End Of June
Motorists are advised that a long-term right lane closure is expected to continue on a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway through the end of June. Several formerly popular local businesses have been booted to make room for a Tesla electric car dealership at Hillside Plaza in Greenburgh. Not Just Deli, in business on the 200 block of Tarrytown Road (Route 119) for the past 25 years closed on Wednesday, Aug. 29.
