ID Released For Man Killed In Crash On Taconic State Parkway The motorist who was killed Friday morning in a crash on the Taconic State Parkway near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border has been identified by state police from the Hawthorne barracks. The single-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound Taconic just north of Exit 11 (Route 134) in Yorktown at approximately 8 a.m. The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was 54-year-old Darsin Sandro of Long Island City. Sandro's vehicle exited the roadway onto the center median, and struck a tree, state police said. Sandro was transported by EMS professionals to Weschester Medical Center where…
