A 27-year-old man who worked at a nonprofit helping children was killed after a tree fell on his car in Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Saturday, July 29 just before 7:30 p.m., when police in Dobbs Ferry responded to the area of Walgrove Avenue on a report of a tree falling on a car, trapping a victim inside. A police officer is being treated at an area hospital after being seriously injured in an unprovoked attack in Westchester County. A Dobbs Ferry officer assigned to assist a Con Edison crew was assaulted around 2 p.m., Thursday, May 20, in the area of Keller Lane and Beacon Hill, according to ABC 7. Black Lives Matter Yard Sign Is Defaced In Dobbs Ferry
Police are investigating an incident involving the defacing of a Black Lives Matter yard sign in Westchester. Dobbs Ferry police said they received a complaint on Sunday, Dec. 13, from the village's Human Rights and Diversity Committee. Although the investigation is still active, Dobbs Ferry PD Lt.
