Ramp Closure: Traffic Between I-287, Saw Mill River Parkway To Be Impacted In Elmsford
Traffic between Interstate 287 and a busy parkway in Westchester will soon be impacted by an upcoming ramp closure that will last more than a week. The ramp between I-287 East and the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Elmsford is set to close between Thursday, June 15 at 5 a.m. and Friday, June 23 at 5 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation. The closure is to facilitate ramp maintenance, officials said. Commuters are asked to use the posted detour to State Route 119 as an alternate route.

Winter Weather Advisory: Storm Bringing Snow, Sleet Will Cause Slippery Evening Commute
A winter storm affecting more than 200 million Americans will sweep through the area, bringing accumulating snow and sleet and causing slippery travel conditions. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the entire region from noon Wednesday, Feb. 20 until 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. Flooding On Four Westchester Parkways, I-684 Crash Snarl Evening Commute
This story has been updated. The Tuesday evening commute was a crawl for many in the area after a day filled with showers, heavy rain and flooding. Stretches of four of the most traveled parkways in the area were closed late Tuesday afternoon due to flooding and a crash on northbound I-684 blocked two lanes for about an hour.
