Car Strikes 25 Feet Of Fencing, Mailbox In Crash In Front Of Hudson Valley Home A one-car crash in front of a Hudson Valley home left the residence's fencing and mailbox heavily damaged.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Feb. 4 in the area of Bucks Hollow Road in Mahopac, where a car crashed into around 25 feet of fencing and a 4-foot tall stone and concrete pillar holding a residence's mailbox, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  The driver of the vehicle later refused any medical attention, firefighters said. Man Nabbed For Prostitution, Drug Charges In Putnam Putnam County Sheriff's deputies nabbed a man for prostitution and drug charges following a traffic stop where he had two young women in the car. Leonardo Martinez, 42, of Elmhurst, was busted following a stop on Friday, Feb. 16,  when members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Bucks Hollow Road in the Mahopac area of the Town of Carmel.  During the stop, deputies determined that Martinez, who was accompanied by two females, 23 and 28, both of Queens, was operating the vehicle without a valid drivers license. …
