SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Samantha Coffey, a Sleepy Hollow resident who is a senior at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, on Wednesday signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Boston College next fall.
Masters tweeted a photo of Coffey, the school's varsity co-captain, at a letter-signing ceremony.
Coffey, a midfielder, was a member of the USA Under-18 (U-18) Women’s National Team last year, during which she traveled to Northern Ireland in the fall to play in the 2016 Women’s International Cup. She most recently competed in the U-18 training camp last month in Carson, Calif., where she earned captain honors.
