Although the stormy weather may have kept some at home, the school library and auditorium served big helpings of sunshine as the students in grade-level bands and choruses sang and the school orchestra performed for the visitors. Choral director Sheila DePaola and band director Jerry Lucadamo led the musical portions of the program in a dress rehearsal for the school’s 2014 winter concert scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 10.  Accompanist Mairead Schuelin played piano for both the fifth-sixth grade and seventh-eighth grade choruses.  Students also provided entertainment and served the guests at lunch as Schools Superintendent Valencia Douglas, PTA President Susan Burlazzi and members of the PTA hosted the event.
