HS Senior From Westchester Wins State Oratory Competition For Second Time
A high school senior from Northern Westchester is officially a back-to-back champion in a statewide oratory speech event. Aidan Aldea-Lustig, a senior at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, was named champion of the Original Oratory Speech event at the New York State Forensic League Championships, the Byram Hills Central School District announced on Monday, April 29. Tarrytown's Transfiguration School To Close
A school in Westchester County has announced it will cease operations at the end of the academic year. In an announcement on Wednesday, May 1, the Office of the Superintendent of Schools of the Archdiocese of New York revealed the Transfiguration School in Tarrytown would close at the end of the 2023-24 academic year.
