March of Dimes Honors Purchase Real Estate Firm

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. --  The March of Dimes Greater New York Chapter named Purchase's National Realty and Development Corp. (NRDC) the recipient of its 26th Annual Real Estate Award at a ceremonial breakfast on Thursday.

The NRDC was founded more than 50 years ago and has built a reputation as one of the leading privately-held commercial real estate ownership and development firms in the United States.

Each year the March of Dimes honors outstanding individuals and companies whose commercial real estate activities have significantly enhanced the community. The breakfast is one of the largest real estate events in the Tri-State area and is attended each year by approximately 500 real estate professionals.

Joseph Simone of Simone Development Companies was awarded the Martin S. Berger Lifetime Achievement Award.

The March of Dimes, celebrating its 75th Anniversary, is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. With its premier event, March for Babies, March of Dimes works to improve the health of infants by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
