Anthony E. Delosangeles, 19, was sitting in the Westcester County Jail on unrelated drug charges when he was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, police said.

Local police, with the assistance of the Northern Westchester Drug Task Force and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, conducted an investigation that found, they said, that Delosangeles had twice sold heroin to another person in Yorktown last December and January.

Delosangeles was arrested at the jail on Monday, Feb. 22, police said.
