IRVINGTON, N.Y. Patricia Kelly, a former longtime resident of Irvington, died Aug. 10 at Lourdes Senior Community in Waterford, MI. She was 85.
Kelly worked as assistant head master at the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester in Hartsdale from 1974 to 2001. She also worked as the middle school honors math teacher from 1974 to 1995.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Kelly. They were longtime residents of Downingwood in Irvington and members of Immaculate Conception Church. Before working at Solomon Schechter School, Kelly was a school teacher, musician and administrator in Michigan and Florida. She moved to Waterford last fall.
Of her 10 brothers and sisters, Kelly is survived by a brother, John Wells, of Winter Park, Fla.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Chapel of the Adrian Dominican Sisters in Adrian, MI. Visitation is from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dwyer and Vanderbilt Funeral Home in Tarrytown. Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Solomon Schechter School of Westchester, Adrian Dominican Sisters or Lourdes Senior Community.
