Felix A. DeMasi, 102, Of Tarrytown, Stockbroker

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - Felix A. DeMasi, a longtime Tarrytown resident, died May 12. He was 102.

DeMasi was born on Jan. 16, 1911, in New York City and was raised in the Bronx. He was a stockbroker with Hayden Stone & Co. in New York for 45 years. He served in the United States Army during WW II.

DeMasi was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. He served as an usher, a bingo worker and a bazaar worker. He was a member of the American Legion, Spencer Kelly Post. He was a life member of Phoenix Hose Company which he joined in May of 1954 and served as the treasurer of the company for 30 years.

DeMasi is survived by sons, Felix A. (Dorothy) of Whispering Pines, N.C., and Robert A. of Tarrytown; two grandsons; and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Rachel; and brothers, Nick, Anthony and Michael.

Calling hours are Tuesday, May 14 from 2 to 4 and  7 to 9 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Immaculate Conception Church with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
