Yorktown's Beth Shea Named Pastry Chef At Tarrytown House Estate

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson recently welcomed new pastry chef Beth Shea.

Shea, a Yorktown resident, previously worked as the head baker at Magnolia Bakery, according to a press release. Shea also served as pastry chef for Legends Hospitality Management Group at Yankee Stadium where she "oversaw the production of desserts for all luxury suite patrons and team owners, as well as social gatherings and events," according to the release. 

“Beth has tremendous experience in the food and beverage industry, having worked in restaurants, hotels, conference centers and high volume corporate hospitality groups. We are pleased to welcome her to our team,” said Rich Porteus, Food & Beverage director at Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson, in the release.

The Tarrytown House Estate offers "spectacular Lower Hudson Valley lodging and a meeting facility that blends historical charm with modern conveniences," according to the release. The hotel is set on 26 acres overlooking the Hudson River Valley, according to the release.
