What to Do in the Tarrytowns This Weekend

 

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – There's no reason to leave the Tarrytown area this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Here's a list of weekend events in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington.

 

Friday

 

- Kids and parents can hear stories and songs in Spanish and English during “Cuentos y Cancions” at Warner Library at 10:30 a.m.

 

- Sleepy Hollow Middle School Students present “My Son, Pinocchio Jr.,” a musical telling the story of Pinocchio through the eyes of his father Geppetto, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.

 

- The Irvington PTSA will host a movie night at Dows Lane Elementary at 7 p.m.

 

- Youth theater company Random Farms Kids' Theater presents “Oliver” at the Tarrytown Music Hall at 7 p.m.

 

- The Friends of Irvington Library will host a community-wide spelling bee at the Irvington Town Hall Theater at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. 

 

- The Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown lasts from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

 

 

 

Saturday

 

- Warner Library hosts Saturday stories at 11:30 a.m.

 

- The Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture hosts “Farm to Table: Young Chefs,” a program where participants gather ingredients and then help prepare seasonal recipes, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Visit the website for more information. 

 

- The Irvington Education Foundation's Raise the Roof fundraiser will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown.

 

- The Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown lasts from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

 

 

Sunday
