Residents in Westchester County and southern Connecticut will see steady rain going into Friday, with temperatures dropping into the upper 30s and 40s. The rain and winds will worsen Friday morning before steadying off in the afternoon.
The weather service predicts light winds Friday night could lead to additional fog and possible stray showers across southern Connecticut and Westchester County. A warm front Sunday should push any bad weather out to sea, bringing warmer temperatures to the area.
Temperatures are predicted to reach a high of 46 degrees and winds expected to gust as high as 29 mph on Friday, with three-quarters to one inch of rain possible.
There's a slight chance of showers after 1 p.m. Saturday, with a high predicted near 61 degrees. Sunday's weather should be sunny, with a high of 58 degrees.
