The Volunteer Center participates in the MLK Day of Service at the Institute of Applied Human Dynamics from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Register at www.volunteer-center.org.
Hands on the Farm: Egg Collecting at the Stone Barns Center from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Learn about the life of a hen at Stone Barns, and join the staff to collect eggs. Programs are family appropriate (children ages 2 to 14).
Stone Barns Center Insider's Tour from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Get up close and personal with the livestock and take a walk through the greenhouse and planting fields. Let the staff share with you their favorite places at Stone Barns. Due to the amount of walking and length of the tour, it is not recommended for those under 12 years of age.
Stone Barns Center Winter Farm Tour from 1 to 2 p.m. Get face-to-face with Stone Barns Centers livestock in their winter shelters and learn about whats growing in our four-season greenhouse and main production field.
BossaNote performs at the Black Cat Cafe in Irvington from 5 to 8 p.m.
