TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Congratulations to our readers who participated in The Daily Tarrytown's weekly 'Where is This?game in 2011.
John Naples proved himself to be the most knowledgeable about the Village of Tarrytown, even though he's moved away to Florida. We're still in awe of his guessing abilities.
The final leaderboard, including last week's challenge, is as follows:
First place: John Naples with 40 points. Second place: Stefanie Casarella with 10 points. Third place: tflynn, Lauren Bucci, Bonnie Taxter, Andrea Most Gottschall, tthome and Sara Mascia with five points. Fourth place: Liz Karkoff with three points.
The new year means we're starting fresh and erasing the leaderboard. Check back each Friday in 2012 for a new challenge. We'll be posting a photo of an architectural feature or object found somewhere in the village. It's up to you to figure out the name of the building or the street where we took the photo.
Points will be awarded to the first person who correctly answers with the photo's location and we'll be keeping a list of our sharp-eyed readers.
