The Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Memorial Day Parade will kick off at 9 a.m. Monday. Marchers will head out from Main Street in Tarrytown and proceed north on Route 9 into Sleepy Hollow. Once in Sleepy Hollow, they will turn left onto Beekman Avenue, south on North Washington Street and end at the war memorials at Patriot's Park.

The members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion will host a short Memorial Day service in Patriot's Park to honor those who have served and are currently serving.

The Irvington Memorial Day Services and Paradewill begin at 10:45 a.m. in front of the War Memorials on Main Street. Marchers and residents will then head east on Main Street, turning right onto Route 9 and walk to Memorial Park. A second memorial service will take place at the park.

Village offices, libraries and post offices in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

There will be no garbage pickup on Monday. Regular sanitation schedules will resume on Tuesday.
