TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Tarrytown police are investigating a phony prescription given to one local pharmacy after a doctor noted she did not issue it.
A Walgreens pharmacist reported to police that he had received a fradulent prescription around 2 p.m. on November 28.
Police called the doctor listed, who told them she had been getting similar calls about other prescriptions. The doctor told police she did not issue the prescription.

A man called police around 11 p.m. on November 30 that he saw several coyotes running across the road on White Plains Road.
A woman reported on November 30 around 1 p.m. that $503 had been removed from her bank account at Key Bank. Police have filed a petit larceny case.
A mother called around 2 a.m. to report that her diabetic son had left the EF School in a disoriented mental condition. Area police were notified and the son's cell phone was pinged to determine his location. The son arrived at his home around 6 a.m.
A man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct for urinating in public on November 29 around 2 a.m. on Main St. He was later released on $50 bail.
A man reported on November 28 that he had been a victim of identity theft after Trusted ID, his identification protection company, called to tell him that his social security number had been stolen.
Tarrytown Police arrested two brothers on November 27 after they had a dispute and one ended up with a cut hand. One brother was charged with violating an order of protection and given no bail while the other was charged with menacing and harrassment and given $10,000 bail. Both men remain in the Westchester County Jail.
A caller reported around 6:30 a.m. on November 27 that someone had removed bread from boxes in front of The Pastry Chef on North Broadway.
A woman reported the driver's side mirror on her car had been damaged overnight on November 26 on Church St.
A man reported that his car's front side view missor had been ripped off of his car overnight on Riverview Ave. after 1:30 a.m. on November 26.
One person got stuck in an elevator at 1 River Plaza around 7 p.m. on November 25. The fire department responded and corrected the situation.
The EF School reported on 3 p.m. on November 25 that a gray Subaru operated by a white male had been approaching students on Neperan Road, asking if they wanted a ride. The school reported the car was not a taxi or livery vehicle.
A motor vehicle accident on the Tappan Zee Bridge around 2 p.m. on November 25 sent one man to the Westchester Medical Center.
A newspaper deliveryman reported around 6 a.m. on November 25 that the bread delivery for The Pastry Chef shop on North Broadway had been tossed onto the street. The man didn't witness the incident. Police believe an animal may have thrown the bread.
Police responded to a report of a gunshot around 10 p.m. on Legrande Ave on November 24. Officers checked the area and found no suspicious activity. Police received no other calls about the matter.
A person called police around 8 a.m. on November 24 to report that a man was passed out on a driveway on North Washington St. When officers got to the driveway, the man said he had just been resting and went on his way.
