TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Passing motorists and pedestrians got an eyeful of witches, fairies and Mario Brothers on Saturday afternoon as the Sleepy Hollow-Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce and the Tarrytown Recreation Department hosted the annual Ragamuffin Parade.
The parade started at Patriot's Park, where parents and kids gathered for last-minute costume checks. One girl dressed as Rapunzel took the time to untangle her yarn hair.
Costumed kids paraded south down Broadway, waving to the police officers directing traffic and the pedestrians who had found benches to view the parade. The parade ended at the Main Street Firehouse, where several activities were held.
