The work started Monday and is expected to last 12 days, according to the village. Crews will be working from Prospect Avenue north to Cobb Lane and then east through the Crest neighborhood.
Work will take place between 7 p.m. and midnight.
Village officials say residents' water may be discolored while flushing occurs, so they should run the water until it clears. Officials warn residents not to do white laundry until their water is clear.
