'Sleepy Hollow' TV Show Tops Tarrytown's News This Week

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - Here are a few of the top stories from this week in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington:

Fox released the first trailer and a special glimpse of its new show "Sleepy Hollow," which will premiere in the fall. The scenes include some aerial shots of Sleepy Hollow, but most were filmed in South Carolina.

Andrea Rebello, a 21-year-old Hofstra student, was killed early Friday during an armed home invasion a block from the Long Island university's campus.

Candidates for the Irvington Board of Education discussed the budget, the tax cap and state mandates during a forum.

Trent Bronner, a former Sleepy Hollow firefighter, pleaded guilty to charges that he intentionally set two fires in Sleepy Hollow, one of which left 19 people homeless.
