Sleepy Hollow Resident Hits Baby Stroller With Car

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – A 5-month-old baby's stroller was struck and knocked over Monday night by a car in Sleepy Hollow.

Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Gregory Camp said a mother, 26, was pushing the infant in a stroller through a crosswalk near the intersection of Valley Street and College Avenue when a southbound car turned and hit the stroller.

Police said the baby did not appear to be injured in the accident although the stroller was knocked over and the infant remained inside.

The infant was taken to the Westchester Medical Center for precautionary measures.

Camp said the 63-year-old driver, a Sleepy Hollow resident, has not been charged at this time.
