SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- A school bus driver is on a hunger strike outside Sleepy Hollow Middle High School to protest his recent suspension.
Tony Tola, a bus driver for the district for 18 years, said he was wrongfully suspended after a co-worker attacked him, according to News12. Tola told News12 he was suspended after he refused to admit he was at fault and that the other employee was not suspended.
Tola has been sleeping in his car for the last five nights, living off water and other fluids, according to News12.
The district said by law they cannot comment on personnel matters.
