Route 117, Sleepy Hollow Road Closed Nov. 1 and 2

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Route 117 between Route 448 and Route 9 will be closed to traffic in both directions Tuesday and Wednesday for road work, Sleepy Hollow announced recently.

Sleepy Hollow Road between Webber Avenue and Old Sleepy Hollow Road Extension will also be closed during that time. Motorists on Route 117 will be detoured to Route 448 and Route 9 to bypass the road closure between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Motorists traveling south on Old Sleepy Hollow Road will be detoured onto Old Sleepy Hollow Road Extension. Motorists approaching north from Route 448/Bedford Road or Webber Avenue will be detoured to Route 448/Bedford Road.

Rockefeller State Park will be open and accessible from Westbound Route 11, the village announced.
