Police: Man Forgets Where He Parked, Reports Theft

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – One man probably wishes he had written down where he parked his car after reporting that his car was stolen from the Chase Bank on South Broadway.

The man discovered his car was missing on December 9 around 11 a.m. and called the Tarrytown Police Department to report the theft.

When police officers got to the scene, they searched the area and found the man's car: it was at the Shell Station next door.

Instead of a car theft, it turns out the man had simply forgotten where he had parked.
