Irvington to Paint Village Red on Friday, Saturday

IRVINGTON, N.Y. – The Irvington Town Hall Theater and several Main St. businesses want local residents to paint the village red this Friday and Saturday as part of an Elmo-themed weekend.

Local businesses including Irvington Win and Liquors, The Black Cat and Red Barn Bakery will be offering “red hot deals and great giveaways” for those who have downloaded their Fuzzy Red Coupon, according to the village.

Participating businesses should display a red balloon in front of their shops.

The fuzzy, red event is centered around the Town Hall Theater's Friday screening of the documentary “Being Elmo,” which centers around a puppeteer on Sesame Street.

The theater will also host a conversation with Director Constance Marks and Irvington resident Corinne LaPook, a producer on the film.

Ticket information is available on the Irvington Town Hall Theater's website. Click here to download your fuzzy red coupon.
