Irvington’s Memorial Day Services and Parade will begin at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, May 30.

The parade will start at the War Memorial on Main Street. It will then travel up Main Street to South Broadway, then turn at Dows Lane and end at Memorial Park.

The festivities will begin and end with ceremonies to honor veterans. Mayor Brian Smith will say a few remarks, as well as a yet to be announced guest speaker, according to Superintendent of Public Works Greg Nilsson. Those marching in the parade include local veterans, the village trustees, the Irvington Fire Department, little league teams, girl scouts and boy scouts. The Irvington High School Band, as well as the Tarrytown Veterans of Foreign Wars drum corps, will also be in the parade.

Nilsson said the activities should last about an hour.
