IRVINGTON, N.Y. The Irvington Union Free School District is gearing up for another budget season. Residents have several ways they can monitor budget discussions as they progress until the May 15 vote.
The 20122013 school district budget will be challenging, especially in light of the tax cap and the demands being placed on the district from new federal mandates, the school district noted in its mid-year newsletter. It is critical that the community stay informed throughout the process.
The following is a list of public meetings and discussions on the 2012-13 school budget. All meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Presentation Room at Irvington High School.
Residents unable to attend meetings can watch videos on the school district's website. Board meeting agendas and minutes will be available on the BoardDocs website. An email address has also been set up for residents to offer input or ask questions during the budget process: budget@irvingtonschools.org.
