TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Tarrytown residents and their pets took part in the annual Pet Parade at Tarrytown Third Friday.
Marchers gathered with their dogs, cats and guinea pigs at T.F. Andrews at the intersection of North Broadway and McKeel Avenue before walking down the street to Whimsies Incognito.
The marching route was decorated with chalk drawings of pawprints. Residents were all smiles while they walked or sometimes dragged their pets down the route.
Parade organizers gave out awards to marchers and then led a series of games for pets and their owners.
