TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- There continue to be extensive delays on the southbound Tappan Zee Bridge Wednesday and extending back to I-287 after a multi-vehicle accident that occurred just before noon.

The accident had blocked the left lane of I-87 at the Tappan Zee Bridge span before being cleared around 1:30 p.m.
