How Your Village Works: Irvington Village Meetings

Need to navigate around Village Hall? The Daily Tarrytown is beginning a series called “How Your Town Works” to help explain what goes on at Irvington Village Hall and what you need to know. Our first look is at the top three meetings that take place at Village Hall: the Board of Trustees, the Planning Board and the Zoning Board.

Board of Trustees Meetings

Irvington’s Board of Trustees meetings are held at 7 p.m. in the Justice Court on the ground level of Village Hall. A schedule of meetings can be found by visiting the village calendar.

You can also watch the meetings online. Irvington also broadcasts its meetings on cable. Find a schedule of programs here.

Agendas for each meeting are posted at Village Hall and on Irvington’s website, usually a few days before the meeting. You can also sign up for a mailing list, where the Village will send you an email each time an agenda is posted.

Each Board of Trustees meeting has two public comment periods, one at the beginning and one at the end.

Planning Board Meetings

Irvington’s Planning Board meets once a month, usually on the first Wednesday, in Village Hall. A schedule of meetings can be found by visiting the village calendar.

Agendas for each meeting are posted at Village Hall and on Irvington’s website, usually a few days before the meeting. You can also sign up for a mailing list, where the Village will send you an email each time an agenda is posted.

Zoning Board Meetings

Irvington’s Zoning Board meets once a month, usually on the third or fourth Tuesday, in Village Hall.
