TARRYTOWN, N.Y. A cloudy and possibly rainy week will give way to sunshine just in time for the holiday weekend.
The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of sprinkles and flurries before 8 a.m. on Wednesday as temperatures drop to 33 degrees overnight. Temperatures should reach a high of 51 during the day on Wednesday with a calm wind between seven and 10 mph.
Thursday will see a 60 percent chance of rain and a high near 46 degrees. The National Weather Service said rain is more likely to occur during the evening and the chance of precipitation will increase to 80 percent after 5 p.m.
Friday will be mostly sunny with temperatures reaching a high near 50 degrees. Temperatures will reach a low of 30 degrees overnight.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be sunny with temperatures in the 40s.
