Arrest Of Sleepy Hollow Man In Hit-And-Run Tops News This Week

Westchester County Police charged a Sleepy Hollow man in connection with a hit-and-run accident on the Bear Mountain Parkway.
Luis Alomar, a fugitive suspected in a string of bank robberies along the Eastern Seaboard, including possibly in Westchester and Fairfield counties, was taken into custody by the FBI.
Commuters who use the Tappan Zee Bridge fear the closure of the northbound on-ramp to the New York State Thruway on Route 9 in Tarrytown will create more traffic jams and delays.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo reminded Westchester County residents that state and local police will be enforcing distracted driving laws and utilizing sobriety checkpoints to deter drunk driving during the holiday season.
