Sleepy Hollow's Patricia Spota Dies at 68

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. - Patricia A. Spota, of Sleepy Hollow, died Dec. 15. She was 68.

Born Apr. 5, 1943, Spota earned a bachelor's degree from SUNY Cortland and a master's degree from Fordham University. She worked as a elementary education teacher for the Union Free School District of the Tarrytowns.

She is survived by her husband Richard Spota, her son Todd (Laura) Spota, her daughter Melissa (Emanuele) Bergagnini, her mother Frances Kofka, her sisters Joan Kofka and Joan Harrison and four grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge the dedicated staff of Phelps Hospice. The funeral service will be private. Arrangements by Coffey Funeral Home.
