SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. - Jorge A. Hernandez, a longtime village resident and former owner of a small grocery store in Sleepy Hollow, died Oct. 9. He was 90.
Hernandez was born in Cuba on Sept. 10, 1921 to the late Eduardo and Maria Flores Hernandez. He owned Lucky 7 Grocery in Sleepy Hollow for many years.
Hernandez is survived by his wife Lilia and son George Hernandez.
Visitation will be held Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown. The funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow. Interment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
