A new round of roadwork is scheduled on a stretch of I-684.

The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) is advising motorists that the southbound side will be reduced to one lane in Northern Westchester between Exit 5 (Saw Mill River Parkway) and Exit 4 (Route 172) in Bedford.

The time frame for the roadwork is beginning at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, and continuing until 5 a.m. the following morning to facilitate bridge work, weather permitting.
