Tarrytown Pet Parade and Third Friday: 5 to 9 p.m. Residents parade their pets down Route 9 and to the monthly street fair. Main Street, Tarrytown.

Community Work Day at the Peabody Outdoor Classroom: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Community volunteers help spread wood chips at the new Peabody Outdoor Classroom nature preserve. Peabody Field, Sleepy Hollow.
