TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – A summer favorite is returning to the Children's Room at Warner Library on Thursday: the “Tarrytown Teachers Telling Tales” series.
The reading series includes a library visit from teachers and administrators in the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns who have volunteered to read a book. Teacher identities are not released in advance, making it a surprise for kids who show up.
This is the series' fourth year. The event takes place in the Children's Room from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m.
The series will run each Thursday through Aug. 22.
Afterwards, kids can participate in a weekly crafts table or explore the bookshelves.
