SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Hundreds of runners, bikers and swimmers raised almost $1 million for the fight against leukemia in the 8th annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Sleepy Hollow Sprint Triathlon at Kingsland Point Park.
Athletes swam a half mile in the Hudson River, rode 10 miles on a bike through Sleepy Hollow, and ran three miles along the Hudson River.
All proceeds support the mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The event was presented by Edge-on-the-Hudson, a 65-acre community on the shore of the Hudson River.
