PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Grammy Award nominated musician Seth Glier will perform at a fundraiser for Port Chester High School's Drama Club Association on March 12.
The original concert date was set for Jan. 23, but was rescheduled due to weather forecasts predicting a major East Coast blizzard.
Students have been invited to perform a few songs with Glier in the Port Chester High School Auditorium. They are raising money for their spring production of "Pippin."
Glier will perform a 15-song set, according to Josh Tenzer, Port Chester's drama coach and special education teacher.
Glier will sing four songs with PCHS's "Pippin" cast.
"My students are very excited," Tenzer told Daily Voice on Thursday.
"We have had such a great team of parents and community members promoting this,'' Tenzer said. "This has been a fun event to plan."
Tickets are not being sold in advance. The high school auditorium seats about 600 people.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. The show starts at 7 p.m. All proceeds will go directly to production of the spring musical.
