Congresswoman Lowey Attends Leadership Summit In Tarrytown

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey (D-Westchester/Rockland) recently attended the United Way of Westchester and Putnam and the Westchester Community Foundation Not-for-Profit Leadership Summit in Tarrytown.

Lowey, a ranking member of the House Appropriations Committees, has fought to support programs such as the United Way and Meals on Wheels, according to a press release.

The summit was Monday, May 4, and focused on the importance of all types of community leaders working together to overcome economic challenges that face nonprofit organizations.
