The incident began at around 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, in East Farmingdale on Route 110, according to Suffolk County Police. A driver called 911 saying that a group of ATV riders were driving recklessly on southbound Route 110 near Executive Boulevard. When officers attempted to stop the group, they fled southbound. The products were sold at Yamaha dealers nationwide from July 2021 through January 2022 for between $6,900 and $7,100. This recall involves motorcycles with the model numbers YZ125N2L and YZ125N2ME. The model number is printed on the right and left side of the motorcycle. Suffolk Man Seriously Injured After Falling Off ATV, Police Say A Long Island man was seriously injured after he fell off an ATV, according to police. Joseph DeMarie, 45, was operating a Yamaha ATV without a helmet on Glen Summer Road in Holbrook when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and fell to the ground at approximately 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, Suffolk County Police said. DeMarie, of Holbrook, was transported via Holbrook Fire Department ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
