Long Island Man Busted With Drugs During Traffic Stop, Police Say A Long Island man has been arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop. Ralik Shaheem Petty, age 24, of Hempstead, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 3, during a traffic stop in East Meadow, said the Nassau County Police. Petty was busted around 3 p.m., when detectives, working as part of Operation Natalie, Nassau County’s War Against Opioids, spotted a white 2021 BMW traveling south on East Meadow Avenue. Long Island Man Founded With Loaded Gun In Traffic Stop, Police Say An overnight traffic stop led to a host of charges for a 46-year-old man who was in illegal possession of a loaded gun, police say. It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13 in Nassau County. Nassau County Police Department officers, while on routine patrol, observed the defendant Roberto Roldan, 46, of Freeport operating a gray 2013 Chevrolet Impala, southbound on Nassau Road in Roosevelt. A vehicle and traffic law investigation was conducted at North Main Street and Davis Street when Roldan pulled his vehicle over.  During the investigation, officers smelled a strong odor …
