One Killed, Three Injured When Motorcyclist Crashes Into Car On Northern State Parkway A 41-year-old man is dead and three others injured after a motorcycle crashed into a car overnight on the Northern State Parkway, state police said. The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 on the westbound parkway, just west of exit 32 in the town of North Hempstead. Teen Victim ID'd In Fatal Crash That Caused Hours-Long Southern State Parkway Closure The victim of a fatal crash that caused the hours-long closure of a stretch of the Southern State Parkway has been released. The crash occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 in the town of Babylon in Suffolk County when a 2005 Toyota Sienna with four occupants was traveling eastbound on the Southern State Parkway west of Exit 35 (Wellwood Ave.) when it made contact with a 2014 Toyota Camry traveling in the center lane and lost control, state police said.
