Long Island Man Accused Of Pointing Shotgun At Officers
A 73-year-old man is facing charges after police said he pointed a shotgun at officers on Long Island. Jose Rodriguez, of Elmont, was arrested in the incident that happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, according to the Nassau County Police Department. NCPD said officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont and located Rodriguez involved in a disturbance in a second-floor apartment. Police For Man Who Allegedly Fired At Teens Standing In Front Suffolk House
Police are searching for a man who allegedly fired shots at three teens standing in front of a Long Island home. The incident took in Suffolk County around 8:30 p.m., Monday, May 18, in Mastic Beach. Detectives said the three teens were standing in front of a residence on Market Street when they engaged in a verbal dispute with an unknown man. The man left the scene, but returned a short time later with a shotgun and allegedly fired three rounds in the direction of the teenagers, police said. None of the teenagers were hit or injured.
