The ordeal began Saturday morning, Oct. 22, when the suspect was seen running into the Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve, Suffolk County Police said. Man Nabbed For Two Carjackings, One Attempted Theft In Suffolk, Police Say A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly carjacking two vehicles and attempting to steal another while wearing only shorts and high on a hallucinogen. The first robbery took place around 11:05 p.m., Monday, Feb. 17, in the parking lot at Jake's 58 Hotel & Casino in Islandia, said Suffolk County Police. According to police, a woman went into Kohl's at 346 Route 25A, on Feb. 15, and allegedly returned a bracelet with a switched barcode from a lesser priced item.
